Punshon

Rachel Mary Punshon owned The Tontine in the early 1900’s. Our Punshon room overlooks the stunning decorative, wrought iron gates which were a gift from her husband. With wonderful Osborne and Little wallpaper and lovely views across our garden and nearby farmland, Punshon is both grand and welcoming.

The room features a mixture of contemporary furniture with leather seating. The tranquil bathroom has a large free-standing bath and separate shower.

    If you need to cancel your reservation please let us know 48 hours prior to your arrival to avoid charge.

    Super king-size

    Our largest and most spacious room, the Punshon is a treat. As the name suggests, a super king-size Hypnos bed is standard and is finished with the highest quality Egyptian cotton linen. The room has easy-to-use climate control for the perfect temperature, flat screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine and pods plus regular drinks facilities. It’s all set for you to unwind.

    The bathroom has a generous tub with monsoon shower and underfloor heating. L’Occitaine toiletries and bathrobes are provided for your convenience and comfort.
